Vietnamese Bride Custom

Three significant festivities take place at a Vietnamese bridal on the same day. Le dam organization, the bride’s engagement service, is the groom’s family’s second formal request for her marriage. The two individuals exchange gifts and do rituals to represent their union.

The following ceremony will be a tea and candle ceremony ( le te ). The honeymooners honor their ancestors by drinking tea and asking for riches for their futures collectively during this time. They will also have the opportunity to first-hand encounter extended family members.

A parade moves to the bride’s residence for a reception following the drink and candle festival. The bride will receive a present package filled with jewelry from her mother-in-law and will be fully introduced to her novel relatives below. The bride and groom’s kids does fire fragrant pieces in front of their ancestral altars to wish the couple good health, happiness, and fate.

Traditional Vietnamese garments known as ao dai, which are available in a range of colors and patterns, are worn by the bride and groom. Their bridesmaids and groomsmen will also be wearing ao dai dresses or a less formal version of the same outfit, depending on the child’s inclination.
